Happy 1/2 Birthday Molly (6 months old)

Molly is such a happy baby lately!  Everything is hilarious to her and she loves attention. She loves the kids and always wants to be right in the action. If they are ignoring her she lets them know it by giving a big scream and most of the time Lila is the one that comes running right to her to see what she needs and Molly just lights up.

In some situations she can be a little stranger shy and cries until mommy holds her and then she is just fine talking to anyone.  Its strange for me that she is such a mommy’s

At her 6 months check up she was:

13 lbs 8 oz – 9th percentile

25 inches long – 42nd percentile

She was in the 67th percentile for her head

Crazy enough her stats were identical to Lila's as her 6 month checkup!

Getting a picture this time around wasn’t as easy! Molly loved the sound of the sticker on the sequin heart!  She takes a look at, rips it off and crinkles it up!

She is a busy little beaver!  When she is sitting in her bouncy seat, car seat or bumbo her little feet twirl around and around and so does her little hands.  Its like she gearing herself up to go!  I think she's ready to start moving, She defiantly prefers standing opposed to sitting. Unless her brother and sisters decide she needs all of her toys!

We just started cereal and we have only had brown rice so far but she really seems to like. Well other than when Carter tried to shove the spoon down her throat! Poor baby!

She loves faces. She enjoys grabbing your nose, eyes cheeks, lips, hair anything she can touch and explore.

She loves her brother and sisters.  She is always screaming at them to get their attention and sometimes she just screams I think to try and compete with all the noise!  One morning all the big kids had went to spend the night with Grammy and it was just Molly and I.  She was so confused and really seemed uneasy with it being so quiet. She kept looking around as if to say where is everyone…where are my playmates! She was much happier when they came back.  Same goes for bedtime and naptime.  She does not like to leave the party and most generally only takes a good nap when the kids are quite or napping themselves.
