We had such a fun birthday week!! We started out by celebrating on our birthday Thursday November 10! Daddy took the day off so we spent the day playing and spending quality time together!
I had been working on the basement for awhile and was hoping to have it done for the birthday so we could start using it as the weather started cooling down. The thought of having no where to escape to for a change of scenery during the long winter days was worrying me a little. So I finished up our unfinished basement and we showed it to them on morning of their birthday and I think its going to be a big HIT!!!
Plenty of things to wear us down!!!
Before naptime we opened a few more presents from mom and dad. Once they figured out that under all that paper was a new toy they couldn’t wait to open the next one!!
Lila really enjoyed playing with the talking/singing Dora!!! They all did!
Madelyn was trying to take Dora’s shoes off and she wanted it put on her feet and she was very aggravated that it wasn’t working!
Carter loved his Hanny Manny Doll!!! He wouldn’t let go of Manny’s tools…he carried them everywhere that day!
CAKE TIME!!!
Carter dug right into the cake, Lila had to use a fork and ate very neatly, and Madelyn had to eat all the icing first!

Madelyn and Lila got these baby doll from Mamoo and Madelyn just feel in love with them. For days she wouldn’t let them leave her site and if she needed to go do something she made sure that someone was taking care of the babies and doing it properly. She loves hugging and kisses them and even tries to feed them. Now the new has worn off she still has her moments when she remembers the babies and starts yelling ba-beee ba-beee and is frantic until she finds them both or at least her pink one and if she finds the purple one she gives it to Lila!!!
