The Hopperton Family: 2 year pictures!!

We took our 2 year pictures in late October at Benton Farms in Walton. I thought this would be the perfect place and indeed it was but I didn’t think that the kids would be so preoccupied by the surroundings. We went on a Monday so the Farm was closed and we were the only ones there with the exception of the family that lives there and of course the many farm animals. Carter was so intrigued by a cat that we could not get him to sit still not even for a minute. Mamoo came along to help us and about 15 minutes into the photo shoot the both of us just looked at each other like…we are done!!! I thought for sure not even a single picture would turn out but I was again amazed by the talent of Alicia Eads. The pictures capture their personalities perfectly and now its funny to remember how crazy that evening was however at the time it was not!!!

This was such a cute idea but the kids did not want in this wheelbarrow at all. I ran to the car before we put them in and grabbed a huge roll of paper towels and we lined the bottom of it because there was some rust on the bottom. That was a dumb idea because we still managed to get it on us with all the wiggling we do. This picture did turn out so cute but it makes Carter look like a teenager!

We used one of the two cats as a decoy for the kids to run to so we could get this picture and guess what Carter did…he ran toward the other cat going on the wrong direction…still love this though!!

One guess who we are looking for in the tractor…the CAT!

I brought along a basket of apples to add in the pictures and in the bottom I lined a few oranges and Madelyn wanted to carry the orange around everywhere and of course not the apple!!
