Happy 7 months old!
Well turning 7 months old must be hard on them because they are all not feeling well. Carter started on Monday night when he couldn’t get settled in his crib. He was trying to suck his thumb but the poor baby couldn’t breathe through his nose so I let him sleep in the swing and he went right to sleep. He woke up the next morning with a runny nose and terrible congestion. Now he is coughing through the night, sounds a little hoarse and was running a low grade fever last night. Then when the girls woke up this morning Lila had an awful runny nose and was sneezing like crazy so hopefully her body will get rid of it before it gets congested. Maddie sounds a little congested and has a slight runny nose so hopefully hers will not get too bad. They have done nothing but sleep today so I know they must feel terrible!!!
We have had a pretty busy week….
We went to our first church softball game and here we are taking in the sites.
We went to Mamaw Hopperton’s 90th Birthday party…below are all of her Great-Grandchildren!
We went outside to enjoy the beautiful day we had on Monday. It was so cool and comfortable. Here we are sunbathing on the back deck
Carter can now come up to a sitting position on his own. You have to hold his hands but he is able to bring himself up. He gets so excited when he does it…he thinks its a game. He also has this crazy infatuation with covering his head. If he can get a blanket or anything big enough to cover his big noggin watch out because it will be over his head in no time.
Maddie squealing…she loves to yell as loud as she can. She is also trying to crawl…she lays on her belly and pushes her legs to forward to scoot her places. If she can just get up on her arms she will be gone!!
Lila is on the roll…she was in the activity mat in the distance and within minutes she someone managed to make it to the other side of the room. She also loves to eat her cereal and opens right up ready to accept more. Once Maddie can get the swallowing down we are going to move on to some more tasty food…YEAH!!!

Summer fun
Happy Belated Memorial Day to everyone! We got dressed up to celebrate:)
First off is the HAIR AFFAIR…talk about three extremes…Madelyn is the NO HAIR BABY
Carter has beautiful thick hair…of course!! ALOT OF HAIR BABY
And then the we have the MOHAWK BABY…poor Lila has recently grown a mohawk. And no I did not make it stick up like this it just naturally goes that way. Try as I may I cannot make it go down…nothing works!!!
Let the summer fun begin…
We went swimming in our new pool for the first time this year!!

OH they have learned all kinds of new tricks lately…Carter’s new thing is raspberries. He loves doing them all the time and sometimes he forgets how to do them. Its so funny…he will try and try and then finally he remembers how he did it and he gets so excited!!!
Madelyn loves to scream, squeal, and yell…yep anyway she can make a loud noise she loves it. She really prepares herself and thinks hard before the big debut and out it comes and then she throws her arms and legs around in excitement and just smiles so big!!
Lila is rolling everywhere…from back to belly back to belly across the floor. So no more leaving the room because you never know where you will find her when you return. She also tries to do this in her bed but gets a little frustrated because she can only go so far!!
We will be turning 7 months old in a little less than a week…my where has the time gone!!!
