26 week checkup and ultrasound

 

Our 26 week check up went as smooth as it possibly could go.  It was really kinda boring which I love and is just amazing to me!  For me, its really crazy that I am still standing up right past 25 weeks.  Last pregnancy at this same point, I was admitted to the hospital until I had the babies and was required to lay on my left side most of the day.  This pregnancy I am spending my time chasing 3-2year olds and still feeling pretty great!  I will admit that I do have my days when I wonder if I will even be able to crawl into bed but most days I can’t complain.

I just love feeling this little peanut moving around in there.  Its just an amazing experience to feel her and know who it is!  She is pretty busy especially when I take a moment to sit down and be still.

We had an ultrasound during this checkup to check for IUGR and the tech we had must have been new.  It took her 45 minutes and she kept looking at her heart and brain which was scaring me to death but it was just that she wasn’t getting the measurements she needed.  Baby Girl was also tucked underneath my belly button with her hands in front of her face rolled all up in a ball with her feet over her head at sometimes.  She weighed a whopping 1 lbs 15 oz…bigger than Madelyn was a birth and right on track.  We couldn’t be more blessed!

Finally the 26 week belly!  And the other picture is my 24 week belly with the trips…WOW even with 2 weeks on this picture I am still much smaller and no swelling!!!

HOH 2012

 

On June 9th, we had our 2nd annual Hendren, Olivigni, and Hopperton (HOH) get together. This year we met in Northern Kentucky and went to the Florence Aquatic Center.  The kids loved being in the water all day!

Then we headed to the Olivigni’s for a grill out.
