August 11th we visited the zoo for the first time this summer. It was a beautiful day to be outside and I was so excited to see how the kids would react to seeing the animals!

These penguins were talking very loudly and the kids just couldn’t figure out where all the noise was coming from!

We got to in with the goats….oh yeah Madelyn says
Lila didn’t know what to think! She wanted so bad to pet the goat but was afraid. She seen everyone else doing it so finally got the guts to run over to him really fast and peck him with her fingers and then just laughed…too cute!
Madelyn was all about the goats…she loved them.
And so did Carter. When we first got into the goat area he did his little excited dance and laugh.
Then we found a cool tunnel to run in and out of!!
What a fun day at the zoo!!! We loved seeing the animals!!!!
