Happy New Year 2013

 

Happy New Year!!  We had a great time celebrating the past year and ringing in a new year of wonderful things to come.

My First New Year

My sweet little ones!!  I was looking at pictures from last New Years eve and I can’t believe how much they have grown.  And I don’t even want to think about how big they will be next year!

We usually celebrate New Years at Mamoo and Papoo’s but this year we decided to go hang out with the Dirkes and Olivigni’s both big and small.

We had such a fun time and I cannot believe they all stayed up until midnight not to mention how well they did!

Christmas FUN!

 

Christmas this year was SOOOO much fun!  They were so into it! 

Here we are on Christmas eve with our first presents.  This was sleeping bags for them to use at mamoo’s house. We gave these to them just before naptime so they were so excited to go lay in their beds and try them out.

The favorite song of the season was frosty the snowman. They sang it constantly!  Carter knows all the words! 

It was a great Christmas and I am sure they will be so ready for next year.  They are already so sad that Fred left with Santa!

December Fun

Madelyn wanted to make her own cookies.  She needed her own flour, sugar and baking soda.

They really enjoyed helping wrap gifts!

They were really into Fred our Elf on the Shelf too.  They couldn’t wait to get up in the morning to see where he had moved to.  They were so inquisitive about where he had gone and what he had told Santa.  And they thought everything Fred did was hilarious. What a fun (but trying) age!!

And Santa…well lets just say that they were trying to figure out who this Santa guy was and what exactly he was going to be doing on Christmas. But I can assure you now that they cannot wait until next Christmas.  Every night they ask if Santa is coming tomorrow.  Oh no…we need NO more Santa until next year!

And we needed birthday cake everyday because we were celebrating Jesus’ birthday and the lights on the tree were candles!!!  What an awesome imagination!!!

Molly is 3 months old

 

Molly turned 3 months old on December 17th!

She is full of smiles and coos.  She has even started squealing and gets really excited and says ah ah ah when she knows its time to eat.

She loves her bumbo seat and prefers to be sitting up where she can look around.  And really loves her wubbanub and hugs it with her arm and can even get it up to her mouth.

She has a big personality already and if she gets upset and starts to cry she prefers to be over your shoulder while you stand up.  If you sit down she starts crying again and stops immediately when you stand back up!

Oh wow mom this doll she is cool.

On December 20th she started lifting her head up while on her belly and looking around.  She loves this new view. I was taking some pictures of her in front of the tree on Christmas day and she rolled right over from her belly to her back!!!
