It seems like over the past few months we have been reminded of how blessed we are to have three healthy kids. We have seen family, friends and acquaintances endure alot of heartaches and struggles lately and we look back on our situation and are in awe. Then it seemed like God had answered our prayers but looking back now its an absolute miracle sent straight from Him. Its quite amazing what these three little ones how done in their short lives. Having overcome the odds of prematurity and all the complications it entails. We are still not out of the woods yet for some of the little developmental issues but all of that is minor compared to the possibilities. Thank you GOD!!
We cheered on our Kentucky Wildcats as they made it to the Final Four!!
Carter and Madelyn giving BIG smiles for the Cats
However, Lila said that’s enough pictures mom I am trying to concentrate on the game!
Watching the game….just kidding but I bet you can guess what we were watching! Mickey Mouse Clubhouse of course.
We have finally transitioned to one nap. I was a little worried about this as we were taking two naps one at 10:30 and again at 3:30. The morning nap seemed to be the only nap that they were really sleeping. So this made it difficult when the ultimate goal was to nap at around 1pm. I tried moving back their morning nap 15 minutes everyday until we got to our goal. We made it to 11:30 and we still weren’t napping well. I finally just said we are going to just jump right in and eat lunch at noon and lay down at 1pm. So far its been a week and they adjusted right away with no problems. I just can’t believe it was that easy but they are just so ready for a nap by that time and have been in much better moods because of it.
Here we are eating our snacks after waking up from our naps!!
Our favorite thing to do is feed Maggie (the dog) our goldfish crackers. We eat one she eats one!!
I guess Lila was tired…here she is laying on basket piled with blankets!!
Silly Madelyn going CATS crazy. She put this t-shirt on her head and was dancing around!
Carter serving mommy up some much needed coffee!!
We figured out the baby rings make great bracelets!
Finally I was able to get Madelyn to wear a bow for 30 minutes…that’s a record breaker!!
Lila has to have her blankie just right!!!
BED HEAD!!! I don’t think you could make his hair do this if you tried!
Loving the outdoors!
And we all run in three different directions of course
We just love swinging!
We finally have three cars…so no more fights
Hmmm…do you think they look like they are up to no good. Carter is trying to remove daddy’s licenses plate
Today is Daddy’s Birthday….Happy Birthday Daddy We LOVE YOU!!
We had a very special visitor this past week. My friend Nicole, who I have pretty much known my entire life, spent the night with us as she and her family were passing through. After graduating from college she moved to Georgia and we do not get to see each other very often so I was so excited to spend some time with her, her husband and her sweet daughter Aubrey!
I wish I could have gotten my camera fast enough to get some snap shots of Carter loving Aubrey to death. He wanted to touch her and hug her and of course she wanted nothing to do with that! I am going to have to watch this boy:0)
Hanging out on the couches!
Trying to get a picture…of course the tv was on!!
