The first weekend in December was a very busy one for us. First off Saturday morning we headed to our annual Tri State Multiples Santa lunch.
Getting ready to go
Our big family! We got to Santa again and once again to my surprise Lila jumped right onto his lap while Carter and Madelyn wouldn’t go near him right away.
But it didn’t take too long for everyone to warm up.
After we left the lunch we were starting our trek to Jackson for the Annual Whetsel family and friends Christmas party at the skating rink.
We made a stop at Toys R Us on the way there to use a gift card they each received for their birthdays. This was the first time ever they would go into a toy store and pick out something they wanted. They were so excited to pick something out and mom and dad was having a blast watching them. Madelyn knew exactly what she wanted she had been talking about a Fur Pupppy for weeks. Lila had picked up Dora ponies but when she seen the Pink Fur Puppy she had to have it along with the puppy’s mommy. How can you tell a child the puppy has to leave its mommy…she we caved! Carter decided on an Army plane for kids 5+. I wondered to myself what he would do with it and tried and tried to encourage him to look around something different and he did although he had to have that plane. He actually still loves it.
Saturday night we visited with Courtney, Sage, Sabella and Saylor. Saylor was born just 4 days after Molly. The kids loved Saylor and each had to have their chance to hold her.
Sage and Sabella holding Molly
Lila, Madelyn and Carter holding Saylor and Carter sang twinkle twinkle little star to hear…so sweet!
On Sunday, we had so much fun at the Rink party. Lila and Carter tried skating for a little while but Madelyn wasn’t too thrilled about trying it.
Once again, Lila surprised me by being the only one to jump on Roller Roo’s lap!
Having so much fun
What a fun filled weekend!
