We have been having so much fun over the past few weeks.
First off we attended the Good Samaritan NICU Graduation Picnic and had alot of fun.
They each got their very own graduate t-shirt
Just arriving and ready for some fun
Daddy Leading the way
Happy babies…it was a beautiful day
We met up with several other multiple families…
Here is the Jenkins triplets and Colby is trying to give Lila his hot dog bun but she doesn’t want it…that’s a surprise coming from the kid that will put anything in her mouth…
More triplet families….
Us
Tuckered out
Afterwards we headed to Isabella’s first birthday party so we were pooped after a long day!
Taking FUN some fall pictures!!
Horsing around…
Here is Madelyn climbing in a clothes box
Lila decided she could guard the toys better if she was in the box
And Carter thinks he is a puppy dog…he is always crawling around with a ring in this mouth
The next weekend we were Off to our first Jackson County Apple Festival
We entered the baby contest so we are dressed in apple gear….Carter was an apple picker
My friend Nicole (who I have know just about all my life) and I were on the Apple Festival Queens court together years ago…man that doesn’t seem possible!! So it was neat to have our kids participate in the contest. The babies got a meet her daughter Aubrey for the first time. She is so adorable and was helping keep the babies occupied before the baby contest by feeding them yogurt bites. But what she didn’t know was that it was helping keep her distracted too!!
And the contest begins…here is Madelyn…not wanting to look at the judges
Lila acting shy
And Carter giving a little smile
Guess who won 2nd place….Carter…its gotta be the hair…lol!
We are going to have to build a room on just for all of his trophies if he keeps this up:0)
The taste of victory!
All the winners…well at least mom and dad are looking at the camera
Off to the BIG parade after a very short nap. I was a little worried because the parade didn’t start until 8pm and I didn’t know if we were going to last that long. But they did great!
Madelyn loved the parade and she never took her eyes off of it. She would jump up and down and wiggle…she just loved it!
Carter was a little sleepy but he loved the fire trucks and everytime a band went by he would sing…it was so cute!
Lila loved the lights and would occasionally get really excited and jump up and down. Here she is smiling and jumping!
We are learning all sorts of new things. Carter is clapping his hands and Lila has started waving with both hands. However, ironcially she eems to have more control with her left hand than her right (looks like she might be her daddy’s lefty). I am hoping to get it on video but everytime I get the camera out they are too interested in what it is and stop. Then there is little miss camera hog and she gets excited at the chance to show off in front of the camera. She dances everytime she hears music and when prompted by shaking her hips and nodding her head but I haven’t gotten on video yet. Here she is waving.
And here she is playing peek a boo with daddy!
This weekend is our big multiples clothing and equipment sale. It is in northern Cincinnati and I will be setting up on Friday night. By the time I was to get home from the set up the babies would already be in bed and then I would have to leave way before they got up in the morning. So I am choosing to stay the night with Kera, one of my multiples friends, and this will be my first official night away from the babies. We will see how that goes:)
