Maddie is finally at home. She made her way home this afternoon and is adjusting very well. She is still on oxygen but only about 1/8 of a liter so they expect her to come off in the next 4 to 6 weeks. Mommy and Daddy couldn't be happier that we will be able to celebrate our first Christmas all together as a family.

Maddie's day with Santa
Maddie LOVING Santa
Santa came to visit the babies in the NICU on Sunday and Maddie LOVED Santa...she wouldn't stop staring at him. I expected her to cry and scream bloody murder but she didn't even make a peep. He held her for the longest time b/c she just seemed so content and when he went to give her back she had a death grip on his beard.
Maddie will FINALLY be coming home tomorrow and Our trio will be complete. It is such a precious Christmas gift that only God could give. She will be coming on a small amount of oxygen but they are thinking it will only be 4 to 6 weeks that she may need it. We just feel so blessed that she will be home.

More pictures!
Maddie is still in the hospital but she is up to 3lbs already and taking a bottle when she cues for it and doing very well. I am so thankful that my mom has been here helping me at home with Lila and Carter so I can go up everyday to see our little peanut. She will be getting her pictures with Santa on Sunday and I am very excited for that.

Carter's Homecoming
Carter getting ready to come home!
Maggie is not so sure about Carter...you mean another one!!
Lila loves her paci and holding on to it for dear life
Lila got her first bath on Sunday She seemed to enjoy it at first but once we started soaping up she started screaming! Hopefully next time she enjoys all of it. Lila loves her paci and even though she is so tiny she has a deathly grip on that thing.
Maddie LOVES her thumb and loves sucking on her paci too. After Carter left on Monday she took 18 ml of her feed from the bottle and then another 13ml later in the day. I think she is wanting to come home with her brother and sister asap. She now weighs 2lbs 9 oz so she needs to at least gain another pound before she can come home. They increased her calories to help her gain the weight a little faster and hopefully it does so we can have her home soon.
Checking each other out

Lila's Homecoming
Lila getting ready to come home
Lila and Maggie meet:)
Get me out of here already!
Lila sleeping in the pack and play
Last night was Lila's first night home and it actually went really well. I don't know if its b/c we are expecting two more but one baby is a piece of cake. We got up changed her and fed her all in a half an hour and back to bed. Add two more to the mix and a half hour to change and feed each of the three and there is only an hour and half left until you have to do it all again...lol;)
Mamoo and Papoo Hopperton came to watch Lila so Brad and I could go up to the hospital and see Carter and Maddie and Grandma Judy met us there. Carter has his feeding tube out now so it will only be a matter of time before he is home.
Maddie is doing great as well. We just need for her to gain some weight and then learn to take a bottle and we are out of there!

My babies are finally together and Lila is coming home today
First Day together
Maddie loves her thumb
F.B.I...Fat, Bald and Innocent...okay maybe not bald but a little thin on top...lol
Sleeping together
They discovered each other and Carter kept sticking his hands in Maddie's mouth!!!
Lila sleeping, Carter checking things out and Maddie sucking her thumb
Maddie giving a big smile, Lila has her feeding tube out and Carter trying to wave at the camera!
I can't even begin to explain how I felt when I walked into the nicu today and finally seen my three babies together again. I have waited so long for this day to come but it won't last too long. To our surprise they told us Monday that Lila would be coming home on Thursday. I couldn't be more excited, scared and sad all at the same time. I just can't wait to get her home but I also cant stand the thought of leaving Carter and Maddie there. We know Carter will probably be home in a week or so but Maddie still has alot of growing to do. I have been there everyday since they were born and I just can't leave them there without someone coming to visit each day. The one nice thing will be the adjustment of having one baby and gradually adding another and then another.
