We have windows in our house that go to the floor and outside our living room we have a wrap around porch that the window sills are pretty much flush with. I had just put the screens in and opened up the windows. The kids were playing behind a chair (their hide out) and I was sitting in the middle of the living room floor. I hear this strange nose come from that direction and look over to see the screen falling out of the window from behind the chair. I jump up and look over the chair and there sits Carter on the porch...he had pushed so hard on the screen he knock out it right out rolling on to the porch. HILARIOUS!!! He was fine of course because he basically just rolled over the sill. Needless to say we will no longer be having any of the windows open that they can reach:-) There is never a dull moment in this house!!!
Showing off our personalities…
Lila is still the diva…posing for the camera as always. She is also loving telling her brother and sister…no no no…when they are doing something she really wants to do but know she's not suppose too and making sure that they all have the right cups and blankies. She is Mother Lila!
Laid back Madelyn…just hanging out doing her own thing. She is most contented just playing by herself. She gets pretty angry if someone takes her toy so she has learned to just go off by herself and everybody is happy. She is walking great and all the stiffness in her legs I was worried about is long gone!!
And Carter…he loves to pick on the girls anything just to irritate them (just like his daddy). He doesn’t mind if someone steals his toys he just goes and gets the next one. However, he doesn’t and I repeat does not listen when he is doing something he is not suppose to do (I think he has selective hearing). I sure hope that changes.
Never a dull moment….
Madelyn running with daddy’s remote…they all three love remotes
Carter got behind the gate that blocks this table and stuck his fingers into the candle (which was not lit) and got black residue all over his nose…silly boy and of course not listening to mom!
Lila loves dragging out this toy. Its a play tunnel and she does this at least once a day. She drags it all over the house crying until we open it up and then she wants nothing to do it…go figure!
We had a playdate at our house last week with our friend Autumn!
Autumn and Madelyn…screaming in excitement
Autumn tackling Carter again…if you remember the last time we played Autumn beat up on Carter. Id like to say he just knows better than to beat up a girl…haha!
Autumn and Lila looking outside
Sweet Autumn!
New Spring PJS…we look so big!
The girls modeling their new “baby legs”. Aren’t they cute?
This is a video of Carter pacing back and forth. I am not sure what he was doing but just to warn you it is 3:20 of him pacing back and forth so you may want to skip through it. I just found it quite amazing that this could amuse him!!!
We have been enjoying these beautiful days outside we have had here recently. The cooler ones and the very unusually warm ones. Each of them love the outdoors. Lila enjoys just running around crazy. Madelyn loves to swing and Carter loves the playhouse and digging in the dirt!!
One cozy coupe with three kids is not a good idea. They fought the entire time of who’s turn it was!
Race ya…Lila and Carter trying to be the first to get to the back yard.
Just a swingin’…they love love love the swings and they hate getting out!
And they enjoy having their snack time outside on the picnic table!
The adventures of Carter’s tongue. I think this is just how Carter concentrates…the tongue just helps him figure it all i out!
The Girls enjoying the sunshine!
Madelyn just taking it all in!!
Lila was so intrigued by everything in the yard
Here’s to hoping the warm weather returns very soon because today we sure missed our afternoon of playing outside!!!
